A series of interactive lesson packs that take an English speaker from zero Japanese toward functional fluency. Sister project to 2izzo/studio (music theory) — same format, different domain.

Each pack is four single-file HTML lessons plus an index. Click to hear a kana, type the romaji to drill it, work through a quiz at the end of each lesson. No accounts, no tracking, no localStorage — just the page and the audio.

The plan

The full roadmap (8+ packs, target year-1 milestone, daily routine, immersion stack) lives in the repo's plan doc. The short version: Foundation → Vocabulary spine → Compounding → Stretching, four quarterly phases over a year, packs as the grammar layer riding on top of daily SRS habits and passive immersion.
